Fish & Co, Annandale -- or -- I can't believe it's not fish puns

Sometimes a man has too much respect to resort to pun-making. It's not that I respect you, Molly, or even myself. Goodness no! But when you write about a sustainable seafood restaurant (which is, let's admit it, swimming against the tide fairly niche) it is very very difficult not to get taken in hook line and sinker completely. Oh well. There are plenty of fish in the sea other opportunities.

For those who don't like loud restaurants, note that Fish & Co also have foam padding stuck to the underside of the tables to help with the noise.

I'm surprised by the poor reviews on Urbanspoon. I don't know if they've changed something recently to improve, or if it's only the vocal who have spoken out. But if you go there expecting to pay around $30 for a main course you should enjoy it.

  1. Looks great - I've heard a lot of good things about this place. The cooking class sounds interesting.

  2. Hmmm... I think I normally find mains better than entrees. May be that I order more entrees than mains. I've been wanting to try this place out for a while but somehow forgot, thanks for reminding me.

    1. I find entrees usually have more concentrated / interesting flavours. I guess because they are smaller so can do more with it. Whereas mains are milder -- possibly intentionally so you don't get overpowered or sick of it.
