Lots of restaurants closing. Lots opening up. So much pressure to go to the new ones. Be on trend. But... nah. Here's an oldie but a goodie.
Though the menu is short, it has quite a variety of styles and everything is good. Trust the staff to tell you their favourites. Better yet, ask Mama. Mama, the owner, will talk your ear off and make you feel at home. If your home has awesome food coming out of its kitchen.
The Sardine Room is not the new kid on the block. But it's welcoming and the food is excellent. What else really matters?

The rabbit stifado looks really good.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea this place had such a mishmash of cuisines on the menu. All of it looks good.
ReplyDeleteCute name for a restaurant (is it tenny)! Never heard of this place...but you're right, it's important to keep revisiting the old places so that they stay in business.

Despite living in the area for three years, I've never heard of this place. It looks awesome though! I'll definitely have to check it out ASAP.
I live not too far from Potts Point, but I've never heard of this restaurant. Love the mix of flavours on the menu and that rabbit and soft shelled crab both look delicious!
ReplyDeleteThis place entered my radar about 2 years ago but somehow I forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me.
